Evolving on the sounds of her first release Shipwrecks & Russian Roulette, Korouva takes us on another rainy evening journey to a smokey Portland jazz club. Uping the production just slightly yet still keeping it pretty muddy really enhances the atmosphere of the keys and voice. A few extra elements are thrown in to nice effect, as well. Another beautiful and haunting effort.
